Award-winning author and expert in accessible information for blind and partially sighted people.
Since 1993, award-winning Dr Sarah Morley Wilkins has written an internationally successful series of books on Microsoft Windows, helping thousands of blind and visually impaired computer users to make effective use of their PC, at home, in education and at work.
Her imaginative and pioneering books and training materials provide users and their trainers with a thorough grounding in Windows from a non-visual perspective, from Windows concepts through to advanced functionality, and are independent of any particular screen-access technology - empowering all users to work independently and with sighted colleagues.
'Sarah has developed a remarkable insight and understanding of how you perform tasks when you can’t see the screen. Her books have become the computer bible for users and trainers alike.' PB, British Computer Association of the Blind, UK.
Sarah is also a well-known expert in the field of accessible information for people with sight loss. Until Spring 2014, she was the founding Principal Manager of the Centre for Accessible Information at the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), UK, and was the Chair of the UK Association for Accessible Formats (UKAAF).
